About the Speaker: Teena Crawford
Teena Crawford’s passion for plants began at just five years old, growing up in her family’s azalea nursery. With formal qualifications from the prestigious Burnley College and decades of hands-on experience—including leadership at Huntingdale Nursery and working alongside iconic landscape designers like Rick Eckersley—Teena is a true “Horticultural Hero.”
As a pioneer for women in the Australian horticulture industry, Teena brings a wealth of practical expertise, an open mind, and a deep love for both Australian native flora and exotic plant species. Her philosophy is simple: keep learning, embrace nature, and always take time to “smell the roses.”
